This program is a collaboration with Irish musician and artist Billy O’Brien.

Billy O’Brien ( William Anthony O’Brien ) is an Irish artist based in Dingle, Co Kerry, Ireland. He is a self taught painter, sculptor, musician and singer/songwriter.

Having travelled extensively, Billy finally settled on the Dingle peninsula after falling in love with the amazing land and seascape, and vibrant bohemian and creative atmosphere of what is Dingle town.

Five years of Paris and France, two years of north and south Italy, five years of England, a year of Scotland, time in China, Thailand, South America, the US and Canada and most of Europe, Billy endeavored to gain and study cultural, musical, architectural and linguistics knowledge (French and Italian). He now offers all the experience and understanding to canvas, song and music, sculpture in bog Oak (Ireland’s only ancient jet black wood), and is learning his own native language, Gaelic.
